Laura has spent the past five years winning hearts with her
honey-smooth croon, then breaking them with her lyrical reflections. Since her first
release, Live at Professor Java's, fans have found that they have no choice but to
fall for her sweet and unreasonably catchy folk-pop tunes. Named Best Female
Singer-Songwriter in the Metroland's Best of the Capital Region 2006, little can be
done to deny Boggs' talent, and you wouldn't really have any reason to anyway.
Her first studio album, Whiskey & Springtime, was recorded by Jared Funari
in his home studio, and was the first release by The Rev Records.

Laura's debut studio album, Whiskey & Springtime, was produced by Harith
Abdullah and Jared Fuanri at Fuanri's home studio, the Basement. Each copy is packaged in a slipcase, which is hand-silkscreened
on cotton and sewn into a shape somewhere between CD cover and pillowcase. It is available now
in the Rev Records store.
"Timeless, haunting acoustic singer-songwriter stuff that stretches beyond the folk realm."
-Greg Haymes, Times Union "Best Local CDs of 2006"
